Really only good for one song.Oct 13, 2004 And that song is "Me And Mrs. Jones". The other songs are ok, at best. I'm sure Billy Paul was a talented singer, but somehow, his talent didn't shine through on other songs, like it did "Me And Mrs. Jones". I wasn't overly impressed with his version of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together", he makes it sound like a completely different song, in a slow, jazzy way. If you're a die-hard Billy Paul fan, you may like this a lot, or if you just want "Me And Mrs. Jones", but don't want to get a more pricey disk, than this is the one for you.

All the best at the right price!Sep 25, 2002 I've searched for years for a decent recording of Billy Paul's "Let's Make A Baby". Not found on the more expensive Best Of's or one the pricey imports. Billy is sadly remembered as a one hit wonder. His jazzy soul style was slightly ahead of it's time in the early seventies. But forever timeless in my books. This compilation of Billy's best work with Gamble and Huff is a real find and a must for Philly Soul fans. CW
