Teddy Pendergrass was one bad brother back in the day. he had the ladies in the palm of his hand with his soulful throwdowns and his direct approach to his soulful booming vocals. also with the Great songwriting and Production team of Gamble and Huff he created some of the best Soul Music over the past 30 plus years. this compilation showcases the songs he made that spoke of a cool time in music and his placing in R&B music. he understood the moment without being tacky.
the arrangements and grooves are timeless as the man's voice. RIP

Listen up all you youngsters out there, This Cd is what you need to learn how to pick-up, court, and keep a woman. Listen and learn how "Teddy" did it. See the object of the game is to stay on her mind, even when you're not around!

I was looking forward with much anticipation to listening to Teddy on "The Very Best of Teddy Pendergrass". Unfortunately there was no music on the CD just a pdf advert for more Sony music. Amazon sent another one and there was no, zip, none, not a cut of music on it either! Bummer!
Then Amazon places the burden of return on the customer (Victim). The e-mail a link to a mailing label that you have to print and then you have to find your own packaging to put the CD into so you can return it. You must provide your own glue/tape to affix the label to your new package.
Better Amazon send you a mailer with the return junk already on it.

Masterpiece by Teddy Pendergrass love the CD from start to finish. I will recommend this CD to everyone who enjoys great music from a music icon.
